WEST SIDE STORY

On November 12,a group of 14 students from Wrocław came to American Corner to see the best film adaptation of a Broadway musical West Side Story.
West Side Story (1961) is an energetic, melodramatic musical of modern-day. The play reworked the traditional love story material, re-telling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet tragedy but settle in New York 1950s reality with conflict between rival street gangs rather than families.
