"The American Foreign Service Today"
On May 15 Susan Parker Burns , Consul for Press and Public Affairs at the US Consulate General in Krakow,
made a presentation on the U.S. Foreign Service. She talked with students about the history of the
Foreign Service and its role today. The most interesting part of the talk for the students was how one becomes a Foreign Service officer.
Ms. Parker-Burns received numerous questions not only about the presentation, but also about U.S. policy in the world today
