IP INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
AND YOU
American Information and Cultural Center presents a new educational exhibition: Intellectual Property and You Colorful panels illustrate and explain traditional intellectual property concepts, such as patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, and trade secrets, as well as newer intellectual property categories, including geographical indications and domain names. The show discusses U.S. and international efforts to protect intellectual property rights.
It deals with everything from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to famous actors like Jackie Chan and his "fakes cost more" anti-counterfeiting campaign. The final panels highlight how nations and their citizens can be harmed by failing to enforce intellectual property rights and suggest ways consumers can help protect intellectual property.
Intellectual Property and You was on display from 26th of September until 7th of October.
