ALL DIFFERENT - ALL EQUAL: PROMOTING TOLERANCE AND DIVERSITY WORKSHOP ON HUMAN RIGHTS TO YOUTH

On October 17, 2006, American Information and Cultural Center in cooperation with UNESCO Information Centre at University of Wroclaw and Dzial‚ Pracy z Dziecmi at Dolnoslaska Public Library organized workshop on human rights to a group of local high school students. The workshop based on non-formal education ways was provided by Kasia Szajda, UNESCO trainer and Magdalena Hoszowska, UNESCO volunteer. Students actively attended integral and group games which allowed easily and straightforwardly deal with human rights issues. Participants received Declaration of Human Rights and learned how to recognize different human rights; they discussed it together and found out simple ways to become an active citizen in multicultural and democratic society.
