On
May 9, 2008 the Fourth Interschool Contest on America, in which
6 primary schools participated, took place in Primary School
number 143 in Lodz. It consisted of two parts. “America and its
People” was designed for older school students while “Stany
Zjednoczone w Twoich Oczach” was an Art Contest for 1st-4th
graders. Older students responded to the US history, geography
and culture-related questions. Younger ones were drawing images
that came to their minds when they thought about the United
States. All the students were very well prepared and had
incredible knowledge about the USA. Furthermore, they dressed up
